I'd be thrilled beyond the pale.
Fredo
winning
more money from China
If D'Antoni was still there, this would have actually been a decent pickup.
What a great day tbh.. first the Heat crumble like the Berlin Wall, now Lin "The Savior" to LA..
Heat
Lakers

What's is we could have had him and Asik when Howard left, but, we were stove up, taking it personal.
lin to randle, an 8th seed in the east, tbh
I would imagine. You have been steadfast in your support of Lin. You think he's a good player and true winner. So I can see you being happy there.
Culburn likes Lin for some reason, but![]()

Lin is slated to make 8.3 million next year, so that means no Melo
To be ing honest? Me being a gook, this is great news. Ive always wanted Lin with the Lakers
And lets face it, we aint winning , I don't mind watching Linsanity in PG l![]()
I called that one, makes the most sense.. LA gets a PG who will have asian support in Cali along with Kobe and Rockets get the space.
Good. I wouldn't give Melo the time of day must less a contract starting at a dollar. He's a loser in the Howard mold.
Melo wasn't going to go there.. and they kick Nash to the curb.
Agreed. Anything that helps us get a top 5 pick is gravy to me.
At least Howard had one deep playoff run. Melo is a perennial first round exit.
I would say Laker fans should be happy. Not just for basketball reasons, but because there is no one worth spending their money on this year outside of Lebron. Get some assets with your cap space, take on expiring contracts and hopefully get some talented players (which Lin is). It's a very good move.
I would push if I was MIA to get LA to accept Lin/Asik + pick in a three team deal S&T where MIA gets a pick or two from HOU, LA gets Asik/Lin+pick from HOU and HOU gets Bosh.
I dont dislike him as much as Thread but at max money? If that is what it takes to get guys not in the class of Durant or Lebron then I don't want 'em. No bile for Melo like I have for Dwight. Melo was never ours Dwight should have been but in the end did us a favor but I wanted something back in return ...
If LA stretches Nash, they have enough to take on Lin and get Melo I think.
& then just laid down for the Lakers. Sure, I appreciated it, but, why, why do that? Well, I'll tell you why,,,because he's a loser. He won't compete at resistance. He waits this spring until it's 0-2 before he'll endeavor. That we couldn't see this and begged him, that we then sniffed after Anthony is humiliating. Having somebody because there is nobody else isn't a sound reason, business or personal. Ever.
