I see that, but management doesn't. Tanking and being worst as possible is not going to be an option. They will try to grab a playoff spot and fail, but they're not going to tell their season ticket holders, being ty is the option going forward thought its the most logical.
They're talking about having to renounce Gasol in order to make this happen.
Thank Christ. Press the button, Fre, I mean Jim and walk away. DO IT!!!
One less compe or, works for me.
We ain't competed since the Odom Fiasco.
thank god he's gone. Also,at people even saying this is a negative for us. We just removed an overpaid scrub, who is hardly difficult to replace.
Indeed. That ole Dallas meltdown is a classic
That ain't what I mean't, but, you knew that. Can't you be serious just once?
How little you know. Lin's stats in terms of efficiency were very good with the Rockets but his offensive output went down with McHale's Horn's offense. McHale's offense was hand the ball to Harden and stand around and watch. Try to dump the ball into the bigs if you can. Portland said after they lost to the Spurs that they always knew where the ball was going with the Rockets but not so with the Spurs. So with a better offensive system, more pick and roll, I expect Lin's numbers to go up.
I am capable, it just takes so much effort. But, losing the bird rights isn't an end all be all if I'm not mistaken so he could be right back in the saddle with 48.5.
Cully called it....I think Lin will do quite well in LA
Cubby bringing the knowledge in this thread. Lakers handing Carmelo a max contract would be suicide for many years. Get Lin and his expiring and see what you can do later.
Renouncing Gasol doesn't mean that they won't keep Gasol.
Carmelo is going to rue the day he went for the money...I like Lance Stephson, Jeremy Lin as a consolation prize...
Ok first here's Harden's stats
FG% .456 3p% .366 2PA% .515 FT% .866 AST 446 STL 115 TO 265 PTS 1851 Min Played 2777 So lets look at his stats on a per 36 min
FG% .456 3p% .366 2PA% .515 FT% .866 AST 5.8 STL 1.5 TO 3.44 PTS 24 Min Played 36
Ok, Assist to TO ratio .55 (CP3's number is 4.57)
Now Jeremey Lin
FG% .446 3p% .358 2PA% .492 FT% .823 AST 294 STL 68 TO 176 PTS 1851 Min Played 2054 So lets look at his stats on a per 36 min
FG% .446 3p% .358 2PA% .492 FT% .823 AST 5.14 STL 1.19 TO 3.08 PTS 15.6 Min Played 36 min
Assist to TO ratio 1.66 Suprise - Better than Harden's
Now in the stats that matter, FG%, FT%, AST to TO ratio, PTS Scored Harden is better in every stat except Assist to TO ratio. Granted 1.55 is nothing to write home about but Lin's FG%, FT%, 3PT% is just a hair under Hardens but not by much. I would argue that Lin deferred to Harden most of the time but is also capable of putting up big numbers like Harden. He's not as good as Harden but Harden is one of the best players in the league. Point is, there is not a lot of difference here statistically.
Jeremy will be fine on the Lakers
Inda. Give it up man. The guy is too stupid to be a good player.
No Sook, just take off the haterade glasses and look at the numbers. He should be fine on another team.
Lakers were going to renounce Pau no matter what - this just speeds up the time. Has no bearing on anything. Only thing that has a bearing on Gasol for LA is if they trade for or sign another FA after renounce Gasol.
Means he can continue rehab.
boneheadedness doesn't show up on a stat sheet. The guy plays scared and makes dumb mistakes because of it. Cost the rockets 2 games in the postseason.
