I mean, ok, let's put HOU in the mix. Only HOU/CHI/MIA can offer more many than SA. OKC* could as well, but most likely not. If we can avoid HOU, PAU to MIA is a little better chance. Still a long shot though.
Oh, Lord. That SOB, goofy bas .

Why would anyone aside from the Spurs want him? At first blush he's absolutely useless outside of San Antonio.
CHI can't do anything other than MLE unless they amnesty Boozer, which I doubt they will considering Rheis is a cheap SOB.
When the site speeds up, we're definitely starting a LOL at Lakersground: Free Agency Edition thread tonight.
Going to have to dust off CrackerJax for this one...
Please do. Also, how do you embed LG posts in their original form on here?
Its so much gotry going on over there.
I just copy/paste using Chrome
Christ! No loyalty to the alpha of two NBA les.
Without MVPau, they're light two.
"With Kobe in it."
I get that. I agree. I'm just listing some options that have been discussed.
Using assumptions, the only teams that IMO would offer Pau more than MLE are MIA/HOU. I think HOU won't do anything with Pau, but even if they do, it's 2 teams which is good for SA. That leaves CHI/SA/OKC for MLE level money.
MIA is the concern. If we are to believe that HOU won't go after Gasol because the Dwight pairing was awful and CHI won't amnesty Boozer for Pau, then it's one team (MIA) who can offer more.
By a "2 year/10M+" do they mean 20M total or, 5M per year???
Yup. And he just turned down 2/$20 from the Lakers, so like I said MIA or HOU.
Jordan Hill, $9 million a ing year? I wouldn't have paid that piece of MLE. Holy , Kupchack handing out one of the stupidest contracts I have ever seen in my life.
Gotta be Miami. No way he's going to go play with Bible Kemp again. I'm rooting for him to go to the Heat so James doesn't get a free trip to the Finals. A Heat-Cavs ECF would be epic.
Jordan Hill $9 million
Tim Duncan $10 million

Contract makes no sense because very unlikely any other team would consider giving Hill anywhere close to $9M per... but then again there have been plenty of boneheaded contracts being given out so I guess it's possible. The only thing I can think of to even remotely justify that type of money to Hill is Kupchak doesn't anticipated any other significant signings and he needs to get the payroll to the salary floor.
I want Pau as an insurance policy against Duncan injury/bad year. For the last 3 seasons, I always fear it's going to be the one where the "wheels fall off."
And if Duncan retires this year, Pau is about the best Duncan replacement you can ask for.
Gasol isn't coming for $5 million a year.
How much can the Bulls offer?
