No, they couldn't have (only shot would be if the stretched Nash or traded with no salary back). They had 24M in cap space with no stretch of Nash before all the moves. They would have about 28M after the stretch. If they did everything the same but gave Hill 4.5M in stead they have:
8M Lin / 4.5M Hill / 5M Swaggy P = 17.5M. Without stretching Nash, that leaves 6.5M left. Doubtful that Lance or Ariza sign for that much. If they stretched Nash, then it's possible.
Lance proved he can gaurd and defend both Wade and Lebron and still put up big numbers he deserved it more than Parsons tbh..Lance would give the West conference all sorts of with his balance of skills and fearlessness.... epic fail on Mitch part...and doubly for not getting a good shooter in Ariza to compliment that scenario

I think Jordan Hill's second year is a team option, which makes wayyyy more sense. Lakers just filling their roster with one year deals like they did last year.
Yes Pau wants to go to SA because he doesn't want to have to work for ...he expects it to be a cake walk....besides it's much easier to get from another 7 footer already on your team...
