With the Heat no longer a threat, what would be the main factor if OKC wants to ring?

Spurs exorcised their Chesapeake demons in Game 6 this year so HCA won't help them enough. I think at this point we can put to rest any chance of Durbets growing a pair, and I'm doubting the validity of the seriousness of Abaka's injury to what was reported. Their best bet is some kinda change. Gasol in place of Perkins would be good, but I think their best bet is getting a competent coach.

It's not the coach, it's the hierarchy of Durant & Westbrook. It's eyed.

But, even if that were corrected, which is absolutely prohibited they still do not have enough floor talent. Durant is overated, that is debilitating on an ongoing basis because the team devoutly believes otherwise setting up disaster at default.

Anthony Morrow. Finally this kid will go somewhere and be coached well, may learn how to play defense under Mighty Brooks.

I'm pretty sure all of those are pretty instrumental in OKC's chances.

Their coach is the primary roadblock, but health is another..part of the reason they lost to the Spurs is because Durant ran out of gas in the WCFs after carrying them all year due to Westbrook's injury, tbh..
