    Can somebody explain what Gasoft can bring here?

    Better to take a chance on an uproven yet tall athletic black guy who can hustle tbh IMO

    Baynes will be a fine role player, which is in essence what Pau would be for us. Why play Pau over someone half his age, cheaper, more loyal, more mobile and a better rebounder and defender? Seems foolish to put to much stock into it.

    He would be a bargain for the MLE. Also, anyone is better than Ayres at this point. Spurs only have three decent bigs on their team in TD/Splitter/Diaw. Adding a former all-star greatly adds to the team's depth.

    Don't think anyone here has said we need Gasol to win. Doesn't mean it wouldn't have been nice to get a player of his caliber for the MLE.
