I think Houston should have drafted the most important position, QB, instead of Clowney.
In a way I don't blame him for being pissed that a washed up Fitz will be throwing the ball.

This is some bull . He knows good and damn well Houston can't trade him.
You know what Dre... happens. Houston did what they could to build a good team and it all went to for various reasons. It's no one's fault. That said, you signed a contract with terms you don't get to dictate. Stop theand get your ass on the field or stay at home and lose more money than you already have.

What is with wide receivers? Talk about a bunch of wahwahers or simply...DUH! As a group they really don't get it.
Johnson has caught over 900 passes, has gained over 12,500 yards. He needs to shut up and play ball.
Trade him to the Niners for Crabtree so Richard Sherman can finally tell us what the feud was really all about. I think Crabtree nailed his girl.
this nig...you're getting paid to play a ing game...shut up and earn your check...if he's pissed off about losing money for not attending workouts...its his damn fault...make arrangements or explain why you can't make it
those homers over at Battle Red Blog
be nice to Dre
he's our hall of famer
nig can't stay healthy half the time and he's being a little ... his ass and cut him/trade him and do the same with foster
Wide receiver is the most overrated position any way. He's 32, trade him while he still has some value, imo.
It's ing stupid that he voluntarily missed the workouts and is now ing cause the team won't let him make the money back. dude, you knew what was going to happen if you missed the workouts. Don't be a about it after the fact.
If Houston can get a couple picks out of it, I'd move him. What are you really losing? Yeah he's one of the best WR's in the game, but if Savage isn't going to be ready any time soon then what does it matter? Because he's already 32 "Well, we have Fitz and he could help us win a few extra games to get a less valuable draft position if he has Dre as a weapon. We know he can't manage his way to a SB because the guy has no ing deep ball, but he'll win some games! With a really good defense, a healthy Arian Foster, and Dre, we could replicate a run like Seattle"
No, no you can't. Get some more picks, get more depth, maybe a decent/good WR back as well. Maybe you could even bolster that defense some more. You guys have a hard enough time with Indi let alone Denver and N.E. But then again, that schedule this year isn't exactly a monster. It's actually kind of weak. So yeah you could make the playoffs where anything could happen, but I would rather not have fools gold. I could be wrong, but I wouldn't be so upset at the idea of losing him.
Cue New England to offer a 7th round pick and a used hoodie for him
The Pats know they can only sucker Oakland into laughably stupid and one-sided trades.
sad but true
Too much dead money involved to trade him. He's not going anywhere.
He's willing to restructure his contract to make a trade work.
He'd restructure for a new team...but he said he's not taking a pay cut. The 12 million in dead money doesn't change. Houston is already paying 10 million in dead money for the Schaub trade. They aren't adding Johnson's to that.
That sucks, sounds like they'll have to stay together for the kids
Andre Johnson skipped all of the Texans' spring practices but according to a source with knowledge of the situation, it is looking more likely Johnson will join the team for training camp.
Johnson was at NRG Stadium on Monday, according to the source. ESPN.com reported that Johnson went to the facility to learn the team's new offense. Johnson has also spoken to head coach Bill O'Brien several times during the offseason.
The last time Johnson spoke publicly, to NFL Network, Johnson said he hoped he would be with the Texans at camp but said he wasn't sure if he'd be with the team for Week 1.
Johnson first voiced his frustration early in the spring at a charity function. He said his frustration stemmed from the team's losing.
Johnson lost a $1 million workout bonus by not attending spring practices. If he doesn't attend training camp, he can be fined $30,000 per day.
Veterans are scheduled to report for training camp on July 25, while practice starts on July 26.

Welp...today's the day. I think he shows up. He knows this is going to end the way he wants it to.
He's already there at camp, per reports.
Seems like everyone has kissed and made up. Props to Uncle Bob for stepping in and helping smooth things over. On to the season.
