it, I'm going down with tspences ship. Gasol to the Spurs, imo.
If Gasol is still considering the S&T after knowing now that Melo is going to N.Y., then it is pretty obvious to me that Gasol isn't serious about championships, but is only interested in the money just like every other FA out there who's name isn't Beli, because Chicago is not a le contender now, with or without Gasol IMHO.
Those suckers.
No we're not, but Chi does. Gasol is just a luxury signing. After the season and offseason the Spurs have had up to this point, we're just being greedy right now. Plus Duncan might retire next year and having Gasol in the back pocket wouldn't be a bad idea.
the bulls they are not going to do even with Gasol. The Bulls have to be the most overhyped team in the NBA. Ever year there is great hype about them coming out of the east but it never happens.
lol "credibility"
lol got
It won't happen. Nobody wants Boozer or Nash's contract. This is dead fish in the water at this point. Lakers, being es about this.
Just Jordan fans wanting to re-live memories of the 90s.
ding ding ding. which is why we dont want this turd. I mean think about it, he went to LA. Then he cried and pouted. Why do we want that trash?
My source just confirmed that Gasol with sign with the Spurs, when his contract is up with the Bulls and he is only good enough to be our 14th player on the bench.
*** Update *** Duncan and Parker, possibly Kawhi, will then retire the day after he signs just to spite him.
If the Cavs get Love, since every team in the league outside of the Spurs goes out of their way to help Lebron get what he wants, we would need Gasol to improve our chances to beat them in a Finals matchup.
So who else do the lakers have to trade? Nash/kobe/sacre?
So you would rather have 2-3 year older Gasol as our starter than Baynes? why?
I feel like Michael in the Godfather 2, every time I swear I won't get sucked in by some free agent saying Spurs just to use them as a stalking horse for some other franchise, there I go again. I thought we might land Pau, oh well as long as the Thunder don't get him.
Gasol 2013-14: 17 PTS, 9.7 TRB, 3.4 AST, 1.5 BLK, 19.3 PER in 31 MPG.
Here is a list of players that put up that statline last year, for reference:

He would arguably be the best offensive big on the team and would only come off the bench b/c he and Duncan are both slow footed on D.
Pau is a pussy if he goes to the Bulls, Case closed.
Look for Bulls to move quickly on Gasol. Sign-and-trade route best scenario for Bulls. Allows them to address wing depth, Mirotic.
Again, @EricPincus was spot on. @KCJHoop reporting that Chicago is offering Lakers the package of Dunleavy+non-guaranteed guys for Pau.
Read post just above.
Thats not going to do it. But by all means do it Lakers.
Lakers should let him walk.
By holding off on the Nick Young deal what space does that give LA to make deal?
I would think they would then opt to stretch Nash and open up more cap space?
Bulls probably wan to unload boozer while the lakers don't really want to add him. Is my gut feeling/what I'm hearing from my source
Your sources being every game that Boozer played in last season. That guy is ty
