MLE isn't much these days. Cap at $77M, 5/77 would probably only pay for a role player.

Would you want Marion over Bonner. Only possible IMO if Rockets don't match for Parsons. Besides Marion, there is not another player out there that I would want the Spurs to sign using the MLE. Just ride with Bonner for the Vet min this year.

If Dallas winds up with Parsons, they'll be capped out. The only slot they'll be able to offer Marion is the room exception.
If Houston matches on Parsons, then no way to get Marion out of Dallas.

Yes, but they be tying up 23 mil in one position as neither can play guard or PF. That is why people should appreciate Manu as he can play 3 position if he has to. That's why it's brilliant for Pop getting these combo players of late to fill out the Spurs roster.
Interesting. I wouldn't love Marion for the full MLE (I wouldn't hate it either tbh) but he'd bring a different skillset off the bench and could be useful against OKC.
