Aside from Marion, who else could spurs land? I just don't want Bonner back getting a good chunk of that.

If Bonner returns, it won't be for any part of the MLE. Vet min or Bird exception.

This would be great pick up to add a spark off the bench and play garbage time minutes. He is much better than AYres

I still like Al-Farouq Aminu as a combo forward defensive specialist, and Troy Daniels (non-guaranteed) as another 3-point shooting specialist.

We really don't need much. Our roster is pretty much set. I would only foresee some minor changes for a backup SF and another PG to give us another ballhandler while Mills is out.

I like Xavier Henry as a low price alternative for a backup SF. He's young, athletic, and can shoot from deep. He's also excellent at getting to the line. He can be had for the BA exception.

If Cotton continues to impress then he should be our 3rd pg.

Although Daye's contract was picked up it's only around a million dollars. If proves worthy in summer league he can be our stretch 4. If not, I can see him getting waived or moved in favor of Bonner.

I like Baynes to return as well. Hopefully he comes back with a reasonable contract. If not, then Bonner would take his spot in the roster. If the Spurs feel they need a true banger then the best options are Baynes or jason Smith.

The spurs almost always carry 14 guys as a way to keep themselves open as the year goes on. I don't see anyone getting cut just so we can sign another unproven min player. I think Baynes comes back on the offer sheet and we don't sign anyone until 10 day contracts. Ginobili, Bellinelli, and Joseph are all decent ball handlers and with a smart team, ball movement is not an issue. I think if they expect Mills to be back after the break then we don't get anyone else, but if it looks like he is progressing slowly, then maybe we get another PG by the deadline.

Even for the minimum. Why the would anyone want him for the MLE? We already know he only plays when it suits him, and if he's on the Spurs, there's nobody he would feel disrespected enough to give effort against.

How is Ed Davis not getting more interest tbh. Underachieved thus far in his career but still young and athletic and can actually catch a basketball.

Yup - I mentioned Ed Davis a little while ago. Very surprising he's not getting looks. Would definitely like the Spurs to get him.

Get Marion for all or part of the MLE. That guy's been a contributor in all the teams he has played for.
