I couldn't call that Spanish side against this German.
Once 2002 brasil got going, their talent was absolutely insane... they struggled for a loong time though, barely sneaked in the world cup, used to be too many talents and no cohesion.... but ya, that team was nuts. I miss those times, 3 straight world cup finals, 2 'chips (still can't believe we lost 98)

Comparing this side that barely got through the likes of usa/algeria/ghana/lousy france and only shined against PATHETHIC brazil/portugal.Only decent team we played all tournament was argentina in the final, and the game was there for the taking for both sides....... at one of the poorest WCs in memory too.
2002 brazil, 1998 france, 2010 spain and 2006 italy all beat us easily.
I'm extatic for us right now but there were no great sides at this tournament. Let that sink in. 2002/1998/2010/2006 are all superior sides.
