It's not about the athletes. It's about the skills and technical abilities which aren't developed in this country compared to the rest of the overseas powers. Heck basketball isn't as developed in this country as it should be.
Check out this article saying if our best athletes played soccer, we would win every World Cup.

If we actually cared about soccer, the rest of the world would be fcked, but luckily for the liberal holes and third-world countries that win in the World Cup, we focus our energy towards actual sports instead....
Thats the truth. We don't care enough to develop soccer players compared to our main sports.
Truth...
Women's soccer is somewhat popular among women and we have the best women's soccer program in the world.... same would be true if men cared about men's soccer.
i'm born and raised in Australia but both my parents are European so soccer was one of the main sports i played as a kid and still follow it today.. but thank god i developed a bigger interest in basketball and australian football
.
Soccer is like wrestling.. the older you get the more you realise what a made sport it is with grown men diving and rolling around over every inch of the field.. pulling each other's hair, biting, slapping etc. It really is a sport for 3rd world countries tbh.
'Merica will never fully embrace soccer for the same reason Australia never will.. because of grown man sports like football and to a lesser extent basketball being available.
I still follow soccer though fwiw.
Pele was scrawny dude and Maradona was a chubby little midget... those are your top 2 best football players of all time.
If you have an offensive role, football is about natural born talent more than anything else, a brief moment of brilliance can decide a game. Sure you can work on stuff like positioning, awareness, stamina etc. but you still need gifted players on your team.
Pumping yourself full of roids won't help you that much, HGH midget being an exception![]()
I watched the soccer game today for about 15 mins. First soccer game I've seen since the 90s. I think half the time was spent on "injuries" with players rolling around and rubbing their hurt owies. I turned that gay off.
Imagine if the likes of LeBron and Kawhi grew up playing soccer with good coaching? The US would dominate, tbh.
At the butthurt over not being dominant in international soccer. I'm a proud American, but anyone who has actually traveled to various parts of the world should know the only sport people play is Futbol. No one gives a about anything else tbh.
Personally, I love football and basketball as well as boxing but Im not going to sit there and deny the importance of soccer.
What I was trying to hint at is Whites are better at soccer than Blacks.
Give black people a chance - 2pac
Because Americans watch sports with low skill requirements: Football & Basketball
Imagine if the likes of Hummels and Mertesacker grew up playing basketball with good coaching? The Germans would dominate, tbh.
BULL Infinite, and you know it
Americans thinking they could be good at soccer
If Americans gave two s about the sport, I'm sure we could at least compete with the best of them. Problem is we may never know so.....whatever
USA does technically compete. But only 8 Nations have ever won & only 6 since the 60's.
Soccer is many times a reflection of the culture. USA is for the most part a big dumb brute. That doesn't reflect well in this sport.
When you say the US is a big dump brute, I assume you speak American's taste in sports (could be wrong). In a previous post you suggested that it took more skill to play soccer then it does to play basketball or football. Explain that for me.
Soccer is quite fun to play, it's absolute ing to watch these professionals gots roll around being gots.
That article is so re ed. You know how rare it is for an athlete above 6'3 to make it in soccer (except goalie position)? The guy puts LeBron, Westbrick and Calvin Johnson in the team haha
The guys that do good in soccer have low center of gravity, think of someone like Ray Rice
