who is don harris?
That is the fear, actually. There is now no barrier to entry. It's like the zombies coming over the wall in World War Z.
A guy who got publicly trolled by an anonymous 15-year old on the internet.
It's something to get trolled as a member of a message board.
It's another to be trolled as a professional with press credentials.
And...
"im really interested in to finding out where these sources you claim to have are coming from. How were you so certain on Gasol? Who is this guy in Miami you supposivley know that is telling you about all their signings before the media knows? I'm very concerned that people are mistaking you for an actual news reporter and a reliable source to get info. You aren't paid to do that. It's equilavent of impersonating a police officer, you are impersonating us hard working journalists that actually went to school and paid are dues to get where we are"
Is this an eMail? From a journalist?
are=our?
supposively?
How much were your dues?
He's a professional-type journalist. Important. Kinda like a police officer.
In the United States freedom of the press reigns, thus you need no license to be a journalist. Credentials are usually required for certain events, but not a license to practice like you do in law, medicine, insurance, real estate, and stocks and bonds.
It is a touchy subject for those established journalists, but this is one area that the internet blogs have overlapped and somewhat superseded.
LOLOLOL someone named Daniel Montgomery whos an NBA reporter is messaging me asking who my sources are LMAO
You do not have to divulge any of your sources if you don't want to.
Journalism is one area that a blogger has as much credentials as a reporter for the Washington Post.
Credibility is another story however and is a matter of reputation more than anything else.
HolyWelcome Brah
Truth. They don't divulge their sources. You never should. ...if you have sources.
Just because you might have a degree in journalism does not imply you are the only one with the right to practice journalism, it just gives you more credibility is all.
But for many journalists these days it is a thorny issue. They would like it to be licensed, but the simple truth is it is not.
It is a blatant lie to say it is equivalent of impersonating a police officer.
Don't be fooled by that.
, if I was a high school newspaper reporter, that gives me all the credentials I would need, and I don't even need that.
xmas dude I know haha don't think I am afraid of Don Hairless Balls.
Good, but I asked you a few times before do you have any inside info on our draft choice Kyle Anderson?
Oh man haha I totally missed reading any of that. No I don't. He was a player at UCLA... I have no connections with college programs, other then University of Washington.
Thanks.
Has David Aldridge or WOJ contacted you yet?
Daniel Montgomery has ahahahhahahah
So has Scott Taylor from Cleveland TV
I wish you had been right about your 100% Gasol post, but I would have been very surprised if he had come here.
it'd be epic if Woj were to tweet asking for more info....
I tweeted WOJ last night when he posted the Luol Deng signing 6 hours after I did. Told him to follow me for information from now on lmaoooooooo
Woj is a different beast, hope you know what you're doing lol.
