He just needs a couple GMS to think he's not to get paid though. I mean even without his prolific 3 point shooting, he's still a great defender and an above average 3 point shooter.

Be a pest by hounding the offensive player for 94 feet. Defense is in large part effort. Some scorers in the NBA make the choice not to expend energy on the defensive end so they can chase scoring averages.

Amare, Harden, Durant, Kirby (the last few years) etc.

& they've got a tiger by the tail with Bledsoe. He doesn't want to be herePERIOD And everybody knows it. But, nobody else wants him at max because of his knees. He's bone-on-bone at 25 years old. And he went the short route on the last meniscus because he wanted to keep the money in line.
