ElNono it was a tough loss, bruh. You have been the classiest of the Argentine fans...tough loss! But at least they didn't give up 7 goals Brazilol! Also, Sportstudi has been the classiest of the Kraut supporters. Props to his side winning its 4th star.
Thanks bro. Agreed on Nono, being classy the whole time. Same for DAF

thanks. Losing at that level is always tough, but I would be lying if I said I thought they would get that far when the tournament started, and yeah, the fact we didn't get curbstomped was nice too.

Very proud of that team, tbh, something we didn't have with the NT in a while, even though it's first losers for us...

armenia hasn't qualified since the USSR dissolved tbh

watching the game, i was actually in awe of Argentina's defensive mentality. sure, germany had chances but you could tell they were pretty damn flustered all game. Germany's team defense was not terrific but their backs (particularly Boateng in the Final) made excellent individual plays/tackles. I think Boateng himself saved about 2-3 potential goals but great last-line tackles. Argentina was banking on what they've been doing most of the tourney... play great defense and wait for Messi to eventually break through and generate a goal, a lot like Spain in 2010. tough finish though =/

Not only that, he stayed to stucked to the post. If he would have rushed into Gotze he would have probably saved it.

Agreed. I was really pissed because it was his ONLY mistake in the entire tournament and nobody is saying anything about it. Both arms open and Gotze doesn't score. More so, his reaction is to AVOID the ball...

I seriously started laughing uncontrollably when Gotze scored, like i was watching a really good comedy instead of a football match. Good times.

    So awesome!

In Germany they do it for years in league matches and stuff, so nothing new!

Gauchos are like this (when they dance with the shoulders down) Germans are like this!!!! (When they dance with the shoulders up)
It's the gauchos walk like that and the Germans walk like that!
