Only DH's and 1st basemen are typically fat.
Baseball really is a sport you'd have to grow up playing to appreciate. Hitting a 90mph pitch or curve ball that breaks 2 feet is much more difficult than running around a field kicking a ball and diving to the ground for free kicks.

Even though, no athletes are as theatrical as soccer players. They're far, far worse than basketball players on average. The World Cup was unwatchable at times because of it. Players tripping over their own feet and then grabbing their face like they just been shot.
