Lol for a team that should be throwing around money at top free agents, their best off-season move is claiming a guy on waivers.
And you're going to have to swallow and digest that sangwich all year. And it's not the type you can just flush down, you're going to taste every morsel of it. ENJOY

Good deal for LA. They finally have a franchis player.
We threw it at Anthony & James. Neither was ever leaving their appointed path. And I wouldn't hit a dog in the ass with Anthony.
Upon reflection I believe I prefaced his value for you fellows.
Which I did not read. Nonetheless, still a sangwich that will contribute to more wins than you need as a franchise clearly in the rebuilding stages. Bon Appe e
Boozer is a solid pickup, nothing more, nothing less. It offsets losing Gasol, and might improve them a little bit, but to think that "saved" the offseason is absolutely not true. Lin is overrated and overhyped but is a better acquisition than Boozer by most accounts.
The Lakers are still no better than an 8th seed in the stacked West though.
The fact that Lin and Boozer headlined LOLs free agency this year is pretty much all you need for an assessment. Lulz.
At least we targeted these two and executed it. You targeted Gasol and let the Bulls take your cookie.

And that's fine, but, you too failed miserably. You targeted Gasol and he put a foot in that ass. And buster, he'd a fit you like kid gloves.
If Gasol rejecting the MLE from the Spurs is a miserable failure, what are your feelings on him rejecting twice as much from the in bent Lakers?
Its not like he would pushed the Spurs into championship contention. As long as OKC didn't nab him that's still a win. Still the best team in the NBA.
Lin and Boozer are both low hanging fruit fwiw.
It's been laid bare......48 has come home to roost and the smell of failure now permeates the fine halls of Staples.
Have fun dredging that river of for any semblance of success this year.
Boiled down:::
You can dish it, but, you can't take it.
This was the best pick up in free agency. We steal a top ten big man for peanuts.
Good name for a LA player, as boos is what he'll have to grow accustomed to hearing, but not from Jack, he's a Clippers fan now.
holy ... that's harsh
cleveland made the best pickup
If we had told you we would get Boozer for under 4 mil you wouldn't believe it.
that's true. i didn't. but it still not the best free agent signing
