Not even mentioning that the 2004 Pistons were one of the GOAT defensive teams and the current Lakers are one of the worst in the league with Carlos Boozer/Kobe being two of the worst defenders at their position in the league
Uh, compared to a championship team of four all-stars in their prime, yes they are.

Kobe: Only played 6 games
Lin: 12.5/4
Boozer: 13.7/8
Bledose: Actually a good player but certainly not worth the max
For comparison:
2004 Hamilton: 17.6/4
2004 Billups: 17/5.7
2004 R. Wallace: 16/7
2004 B Wallace: 9.5/12.4/3blocks/1.8 steals/DPOY
And that was in less offensive oriented era. This theoretical tandem of Kobe/Lin/Boozer/Bledsoe obviously isn't the worst combo in the NBA but to proclaim them a four seed is laughable and to compare them in any way shape or form to the champion 2004 Pistons is plain ridiculous

Do you even watch basketball? We have seen the ceiling that Lin could play, and Boozer is a great offensive weapon, despite his defensive decencies. Bledsoe would be a huge upgrade over Kendall Marshall. Marion is one of the true 3's in the game.
