Morey does have a habit of treating players like assets, but that was not the case for Mr. Parsons. Had they wanted to treat him like an asset, his ass would be playing for $900,000 this upcoming season. Instead they didn't pick up his option as a favor which was a mistake. Please don't misunderstand. I think Chandler Parsons is a damned good role player, but not 15 per good. I do however respect his decision to be payed and I'm happy with Ariza as his replacement. The Rockets made the right decision in not matching and Mav fans will find that out in time.
