Mine is honest. I just hate the taste of alcohol too much to drink anything but tails/mike's hard types of stuff. And i don't want to spend money on it till i make more money.

And with beer, after more than a couple of sips my stomach starts to not feel good.

Every social event in New Orleans includes alcohol consumption.

I may not get trashed or rage every time I go out here, but I can't think of a single social event I've participated in since moving here that hasn't included a drink (or at least where it wasn't an option). Including going to the movies or just walking around outside with friends and daiquiris.

That said, I am exclusively a social drinker. If I'm by myself, or if I'm with people who aren't also drinking, I'm never even tempted. In the six months since I've been too overwhelmed with 40+ hours/week of work AND a full graduate course load to be as social as I'd like, I've had maybe three drinks. Maybe. And my liquor cabinet at home as been untouched. I don't think that would be the case if I liked beer, though. If I did I would probably be more likely to come home from work and relax with a beer than I am to go to the trouble of making a tail.

Went to the pool hall last night and had more than a few. Good times.
