Manu![]()
I want the Nene, Varejao, Splitter, Barbosa, Huertas generation to get at least a medal, so I will cheer Brazil on
What about you guys?
lol philippines is in it? arent they like all under 6 feet![]()
Philippines!!!
For crap like this, we should send the NCAA champions.
Gonna cheer for France, i guess
is Boris playing?
Splitter and former spur Alex Garcia are on the brazilian team.
Gonna cheer for them even though I don't see them getting anywhere near a medal.
Useless to cheer really, USA is taking everything.
Marcelinho is always fun to watch in international play. Is Nene playing for Brazil?
If he doesn't get injured until the WC, then he will play
It's a big if though... he usually gets injured![]()
Yeah sounds like it..
Interview w/ Boris translated from: http://sport24.lefigaro.fr/basket/eq...raite-!-704719 can be found on PTR: http://www.poundingtherock.com/2014/...ired-le-figaro
Thanks I'll be rooting for Boris too!
Rooting for all Spurs players to do well... but for USA to win games
I also will be rooting for whoever Argentina plays.
Yes Sir and as a Spurs fan, i like it
I think we all don't mind seeing Boris playing. He doesn't play heavy minutes in regular season, he is younger than Manu, has been more durable, just doesn't take the same punishment driving through the lane that Manu does, has more backup at his position than Manu does (temporarily due to Patty's injury) and can use the continued conditioning. So, as a Spurs fan, I like it, too, but no need to extrapolate any further logical equivalancies. Boris=/=Manu.

An article about Manu and the Argentinian team.
It's just embarrassing how many U.S players have pulled out of the compe ion thus far. In the last 2 weeks Kawhi, Westbrook, Griffin, and Love have all withdrawn from playing.
To the rest of the world THIS basketball compe ion is the ultimate one, NOT the Olympics. And if the U.S loses, they'll be mocked and laughed at harder than they would if they had lost in the Olympics. You all laugh at the U.S competing now, but you won't once they lose on national television in front of the whole world in a few months.
