It was an amazing run overall. They focused on the finals record of 4 such games, as the story was all about us taking down the once mighty Heat in such resounding fashion.

so does this rank 13/14 SA as best team of all time?
Great Post also
Why does the media not appreciate the Spurs? I don't get why we aren't talked about enough![]()
Um, the media didn't ignore it:

It even got mentioned in a Congressional resolution:
ESPN could have an entire day dedicated to how great the Spurs are and people here would still whine about us not being appreciated as much as the Lakers or Heat
Apparently the recognition needs to be made with more hoopla and enthusiasm for most Spurs fans.
They didnt ignore it but is not something they want to talk about all the time since Spurs are not media s like Miami Chicago New York or LA.
The biggest story of the summer has been Lebron going back to Cleveland, which probably would not have occurred if the Spurs didn't destroy the heat in the finals.
OP will now go on about how this is a CONSPIRACY against San Antonio
To be fair, Galileo has the biggest for brains of probably any poster on this site.
One of the best of all time. Remember, the Spurs won 12 of their last 13 wins by 15+ points, starting with the clutch game 7 vs Dallas, then dismantled 3 of the best NBA reams in the tough western conference. Spurs also had best regular season record as well, despite playing all starters < 30 minutes per game and most of the rotation players missing a significant number of games.
I actually feel uneasy when they do talk about and praise the Spurs on the radio.
OK, smarty pants. A few mentions in the deep recesses of the Internet is not enough.

Interesting to note that all of the 2000-2001 Laker game wins of 15+ were against the Spurs.
they mentioned it during the broadcast quite a lot iirc
Yes, they mentioned it throughout the Finals.
Never mention that season. I literally have never recovered.
Does this make the 2013-2014 Spurs the most dominant team in the history of the NBA?
did not!
The greatest of all timeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeessssssssssssssssssssssss!! !!!!!!!!!

b/c the media promotes/wants white noise (gossip and controversy) to keep the sheeple stupid, ignorant and dumbed down so the elite can do their thing out of the public eye. E.g., issues re: s/ s, race (illegal aliens breaking the law), false dichotomies of democrats vs. republicans, left vs. right, liberal vs. conservatives, etc., etc. Sports is one big white noise while Texas and the uSA become a police state. "pay no attention to the man behind the curtain...do not discuss politics or religion b/c you might actually LEARN something."
The team the media always compares this Spurs team to, the 86 Celtics, had 6 of 15 wins by 15+.
what a small-market mentality
Spurs are champions and that's the only statistic that should matter.
