Yeah nobody loses games on purpose during the Finals.
Call me crazy, but I almost feel like they dropped it on purpose lol. They were sort of uncharacteristic late in that game. Whatever the case is, I'm glad they were at home. It was great, the crowd was going nuts

Idk man. I feel like they knew they were better and could afford to lose a game.
In the end, it worked out how we all wanted.
Nah... I think your crazy bruh
Watched Game 5 again last night with all the celebration stuff afterwards. Goddamn, what a killing!
Did anyone else order the championship blu-ray on Amazon? Mine still doesn't have a shipping estimate...
I ordered it on June 16 and mine says it will ship no later than August 5.
My bad, I ordered it through the NBA store. Apologies.

Since I checked in this thread again,
Champs!
The release date is tomorrow (July 29), and Amazon typically offers release-day delivery for new products. Oh well.
I agree on TP being the 5th best PG in the playoffs though
You know who AREN'T the Champs today?
The mother ing Miami Heat!
RIP Superfriends.

You're probably right. What the , they're the champs anyway![]()
NO, you don't lose a game 2 at home on purpose and go on the road the next two. If anything a game 3 or 4 dropped on the we will get them at home but losing HC so early is dangerous in a series. I seriously doubt they wanted to drop a game 2 at home to lose HC which they worked all year for and going to Miami for the next two knowing they HAD to steal one then. They lost focus maybe, but did not drop that on purpose.
Nothing personal but MY GOD I am so damn glad that team is blown up now and gone! The media hype was beyond sickening. I actually like Lebron on his old team again and can stand it, the Heat though got beyond annoying at times with the hype and fake fans.
That's far more reasonable. I'm still on a bit of a natural high from the ship'![]()

Crazy or not, it was a of a lot better winning at home than on the road like 2007! I was lucky enough to be there and will always cherish that experience.......I'm beginning to get my voice back!
I think with all the hype surrounding the Heat, the fact it was completely a manufactured bought and sold team with a lot of bandwagon fans, they were not doing the NBA as much good as previously thought. People saying the Heat was this beloved team nationally never seemed true. Surely more people were rooting for the Spurs nationally.
When I went to a bar here in VA far more were yelling for the Spurs to win than the Heat!! You could tell some just hated that team and their fakes fans.
I think a lot of it had to do with the Splitter/Duncan lineup. I remember Leonard being a non-factor the first two games. Plus Pop finally understood that Parker didn't need to be the go-to guy in this series.

Freaking awesome. I wish I could have been there. That place was going absolutely nuts when Kawhi hit the go ahead 3, Manu's dunk, and all of Patty's 3's.
Ah, good point. They were a different team once the lineup changed. Similarly to the OKC series. Amazing what a little tweak can do for this team
