Technically no one has been kicked off the team yet. The players rumored to be kicked off were supposed to meet with Charlie yesterday but we haven't heard anything.
Only the rapists have been suspended so far.

Some notes from Inside Texas...
-the majority of the players dismissed this past week were due to repeatedly failing drug tests.
-S Josh Turner was clean, but was supposedly caught stealing. No details on what he stole.
-RB Daje Johnson, OL Kennedy Estelle and OL Desmond Harrison are basically on their last chances.
-the meetings that took place yesterday for the dismissed players was to give them their official release from the university. They're done.
Sad to see that Turner is out. I really liked what I saw in the Spring Game for him and had high hopes for him this season.
It is tough to see Daje return for his senior season if he manages to play his entire junior season.
Coach Strong would have cut his ass by now if he did stick with his commitment to Texas.
I can't read the post but judging by the upvotes on 247 it sounds like Donta Foreman will qualify.
That would be huge for depth.

CB Isaac Warren of Tyler John Tyler has de-committed from Sam Houston State and switched to Purdue.
Read a source on twitter claiming LSU RB commit Nick Brossette will officially visit Texas this fall. He will visit Texas & LSU & is unsure if he'll take anymore.
Wasn't sure if it had been previously mentioned and was unsure how reliable the source was but Brossette has made very recent follows on twitter to Coach Watson and Robinson, recent UT commit John Burt, Johnathan Gray and Quandre Diggs among others.

You and the rest of the country are light years behind Alabama and look for USC and UCLA to both pass you as their respective classes are looking to be on the same level as Alabama. Texas will take somewhere between 25-30 recruits with my guess being they will have about 15 4-star kids in that group. That should put them somewhere in the top 6 to 10 range.

I had been wondering about this.
Per 24/7, if RB Kevin Shorter does qualify for UT, his medical redshirt status will not count against the final roster numbers. Some thought that he might count for his freshman year only, but that doesn't appear to be the case.
