If LA wants them too then we have no shot tbh.
LA has just been a tease since the raiders started having stadium issues

Raiders aren't going to play in a 65,000 seat stadium.

San Antonio's not going spend a billion smackers for a replacement.

NFL not excited about a team in a pathetically small market.

Ain't no billionaire gonna step up and build anything, either.

How many times does this town have to be used as a foil before you people will get it?
Sadly, a lot of truth here.

they've been going back and forth with the city of oakland for like 5-6 years now and there's been almost no progress. LA makes the most sense, there will always be investors tbh
I could see the Chargers and Raiders sharing the proposed NFL-owned stadium in LA, tbh....

that would actually be a viable plan... Qualcomm is also a piece of , and arguably a worse facility overall, but at least its not a shared baseball field

Qualcomm was a shared baseball field until recently, and I believe it has the same sewage problem as the Colisseum.... the stadium's literally crumbling too

Petco has been around for a decade though

we can't even get our logo on the field or in the endzones

The city has funds set aside to add luxury suites and more seating to the Alamodome and could be ready by the 2014-15 NFL season, but would only be a temporary home until a more modern facility was built.

Man, after watching "A football life" on the 1995 Cleveland Browns, I have mixed reaction about this. But then again, I doubt the Raiders relocate..
Not only would it gain such bad publicity, it would just wrong to move such a rich and long storied franchise..

that's true... the jaguars are a borderline lost franchise at this point, SA would be a good spot for them. the raiders need to stay in california tbh

You'd also have people from Corpus down to the Valley who would be able to go watch games. I know they've discussed on occasion about the possibility of an NFL team in the RGV. San Antonio makes much more sense.
Yup. I've heard those rumors about the nfl coming to the valley but I find them unsubstantiated. Political leaders of every suitable city would fight for rights to an nfl team. Too many politics involved to begin with. , come to think of it, where the would they put the stadium? McAllen? Weslaco? rofl

McAllen, Weslaco, Mercedes, and Harlingen were all discussed.... but I never saw how it could possibly happen.

San Antonio could easily support a NFL team. No doubt about it. Build a stadium in the New Braunsfeld/San Marcos area.

Dallas and Houston have enough fans even without San Antonio/Austin in the mix. This could happen.

A stadium off the high way like Boggus would be good. But we also have to factor in the size of the stadium plus parking. McAllen as it is would not be suitable imo. Too much infrastructure, buildings around the good and ty parts of the city. Harlingen, eh idk. Could perhaps. Mercedes would be ideal for space. Kinda like the location of State Farm Arena.

Why not Visalia California in the central valley? Fresno is an hour away as is Bakersfield. Then there's a ton of 30,000-50. 000 towns around here.
