^& they knew Mori. They knew since it happened and kept it under wraps since May. They're a sneaky bunch here. Bas s!!!
Not only did they re-sign him despite knowing about it, but they gave him $16.5 million! And don't forget, this is their highly touted "locker-room leader."

I hated the Tucker re-signing then as dead weight.

This just figures. Suns really need to stop overpaying for the feel-good underdog. Tucker is a solid rotation player, but he should not be a starter and is now getting starters money.

And now we know what he'll spend it on: booze and lawyers

One night of drunken idiocy does not an alcoholic make.

I'm pretty shocked, though, that the Suns, knowing full well about this arrest, chose to pay Tucker over Frye.

I didn't want to re-sign either Tucker or Frye. They've hit their ceiling. They are average at best, and limited in many areas. Suns need upside, not CAP held hostage by average.

Agree completely. I was glad Frye left. I can't believe they re-signed Tucker, especially to such a large contract, and knowing about his arrest.

Is it confirmed that the Suns knew about this DUI when they re-signed Tucker?

Yes, according to Paul Coro: "The Suns were aware of the charges before signing Tucker to his deal."

^ & of course Donough doesn't have to answer for this. Only for the "good things" he does is he on the line for.

They keep his name & this extreme DUI out of the story(s). It's poison and dangerous moving on. If they (local Media) links these two then it's a black mark on him and they don't want that a year in. He's the white in shining armor, in' big eared got.

The BAC in the preliminary field sobriety test (as they're called in California) is a measurement of strictly the fume of alcohol that has been absorbed into your lungs via the blood. The blood alcohol test--is a measurement of the alcohol (actual) content in your blood. The blood test is the supremely extremely more accurate test because it measure the particles of alcohol/blood content at the moment of withdrawal. Since the blood holds the alcohol longer in the system than the blood. Not sure if it is the same in Texas, but the Field Breathalyzer Test is usually only used to determine basic intoxication when pulled over. They have to administer the test within 12 minutes of the stop in order to make an arrest and that's when the test comes in. They will take the test that will hold most of the weight once you're at the station they'll take you to.

The argument is someone able to operate a car while blowing .20 has an alcohol tolerance built up from drinking (nothing wrong with that). Most of this board would be able to do the same so to me it's not a big deal. A girl, especially pe e sized would have crashed the car

Each State is different but in California for your 1st DUI, the only thing blowing over .20 does is increase your fine totals, number of community service days and the length of your "Alcohol Program". For example 9 months instead of 3-6 months.

Even for a 2nd DUI, blowing over .20 would give you 4 days in jail which usually turns into 12 hours in captivity OR you can choose to pay for an ankle bracelet/house arrest for 2 weeks.
