'05 Manu was the second coming of Jesus, I thought this was already established.
2005 Manu helped his team win a championship.
2013 Parker couldn't quite get his team to a championship.
???
Profit.
2013 Parker was an MVP candidate. Has Manu ever even been considered for an NBA MVP in his entire career?
lol yes
Manu got MVP votes and consideration multiple seasons.
I remember 6th man of the year, but MVP?
Off the top of my head: '07/'08, '10/'11 and I know I'm forgetting some other seasons.
'07 was the year that his ankle was in the playoffs right? When Fisher elbow dropped Barry and we didn't get the call?
Just thought about it, but both of the years you mentioned Gino was hurt in the playoffs. lol That crazy argentinian bas .
As far as stats during regular season, Manu's best seasons were 07/08 and 10/11.
But Manu's 2004/05 (Olympics + playoffs run) is just...WOW.
Tony Parker was amazing in 2013, but Manu's 05 season was as they said before, close to JESUS haha
Is this a parody of no lyfe scrub aka superjames1992?
Tony Parker-
2012-2013
PPG-20.6
APG-7.6-
P.E.R.-23.0
True Shooting % -58.8
Postseason
PPG-20.6
APG-7.0
P.E.R.-21.5
True Shooting %-52.1
---------------------------------------
Manu Ginobili
2004-2005
PPG-15.1
APG-3.6
P.E.R.-22.3
True Shooting %-.593
Postseason
PPG-20.6
APG-4.2
P.E.R.-22.4
True Shooting %-.593
In terms of raw production, Parker was better. When looking at P.E.R. and TS% Ginobili was better.
From what i remember Parker had a better season. He was fantastic that year.
That would be quite honestly be reserved for 03 Tim Duncan TBH.
Ginobili finished in MVP voting 10th in 07/08 and 8th in 10/11. he even finished 18 in defensive player of the year in 05

2013 Parker. When you are getting MVP considering when LeBron James and Kevin Durant are in their primes you are an elite player
2005 Manu mainly because he didn't choke in the Finals like 2013 Parker
Daaaaammmnnn I didint know Parker ted on Manu's legacy like THAT!
Wait...What?
The gap in raw stats is due to minutes. Parker played 5 more minutes per game.
The advanced stats are actually pretty similar.
Parker had a better regular season. Ginobili had a better post season run.
Somebody should make a 2014 Parker vs. 2014 Ayres thread, tbh..
Spurs won the championship and Manu showed up in game 7 of the 2005 finals... So u have to pick Manu
2013 Manu vs 2014 preseason Sam Young
DO IT!!
