The Minnesota Timberwolves expect to trade Kevin Love by Aug. 23 or Aug. 24.
"I'm saying it's most likely because Kevin has made it pretty clear that that's what he wants to do," Wolves owner Glen Taylor said.
Taylor still prefers for the Timberwolves to keep Love. The August date is when Andrew Wiggins can officially be traded.
The Cleveland Cavaliers remain the strong bet for Love, but the Timberwolves are also listening to offers from the Chicago Bulls and Golden State Warriors. The Philadelphia 76ers are expected to be part of any three-team deal involving Love.
"I think when you move somebody like Kevin, who's been an all-star, that you've got to get a number of players on your team that have the potential of replacing him," Taylor said. "Flip (Saunders, Wolves president) has looked at this team and offensively, he's got a pretty good team. Defensively, it's got to be better, so I think that's where some of the areas will be replaced."

Feels inevitable at this point, but idk if that's because the media has just been shoving it down our throats for so long.
IMO you don't let Lebron dictate what players you get. We all know that's what he's doing here... He's gonna have such a long window as an elite player you let your young talent age and then have Dan Gilbert go into the luxury to keep em.
This Kevin Love thing is the most boring story of the summer. He's not going to do a ing thing to help another team, except serve as a traffic cone and stat pad rebounds.
He hasn't even played in playoffs. Lol stat padder.

Had Love on my fantasy team last season (and the year before) and when watching him play, I loved his stat padding behaviors: fighting teammates hard for rebounds, talking to refs in situations when he got the call but statwise it could have worked out better(e.g. he got fouled while fighting for rebounding posession, but would have gotten the rebound anyway), not going for the hand in the face of a shooter while already positioning for the rebound, barking at teammates whenever he didn't get the ball...and so on. I loved him for fantasy purposes.
I'm not saying he is a bad player, but the only way, he can be a top2 player on a championship team is with a Curry/Bron/Rose-type ballhandler/star and a great defense around that. Works with the Bulls (Noah, Butler, Thips), doesn't happen with the Cavs (Sideshows health?, Irvin's D, no rim protector), may happen with Dubs (Bogut, Iguodala).
But thats just short term anyway.
