how do you go on about matching boots and shorts? I love wearing boots, but I've never worn boots with shorts..

These look good, but is a little bit "soft".






I'd totally sport the look above but I need variety...

I can't seem to find a good rugged looke with boots and shorts that would fit though..

I actually wore shorts & boots Saturday at Padres game. I think it looks better with regular socks instead of ankle. It makes your calves look bigger as well. Overall I've gone away from ankle socks unless it's blistering Hot.

Bro I used to rock pink and purple button ups back in high school. The ladies went crazy over it. Pink above the knee shorts are a different story. Maybe you could try a boat shoe or some slip on vans/classic converse, imo. Are you sure you can pull the look off?

Obviously a pink short is never a first option. Darker color shorts is my main taste..But variety is key

I'd probably buy one and see if it's an ok look, otherwise i'd stick to dark shorts...

Shorts and boots is a weak look, tbh, keep it simple in the Summer..

Wearing socks in the Summer is lame, too IMO..
