I grew up wearing nothing but flip flops but I have that ed up toenail fungus thing now and haven't went to the doctor to get rid of it yet.... is so gross. Wish I wasn't so lazy about it.
Biggest gots of all, dude's who wear flip flops while riding a motorcycle.
It's nothing to laugh about...have you seen how ing gross a big toenail looks when it's all crusty and yellow...I'm sensitive about this .

I like hearing motorcyclists tell me to watch for them on the road because they're people too and then proceed to pop wheelies on the shoulder during heavy traffic or weave in between two cars and ... those guys.

A friend of mine thought I was a good idea to walk in th city wearing ff's ... a few days later he got major pain in both of his lower legs, took 2 weeks and some Advil to heal

Don't African peeps wear slippers? Or, maybe they go barefoot--not sure why Lefty would remark ing Canadian. To the beach or the pool are the only times you'd wear the chanclas that's for sure.
Flip flops are a great shoe for self defense though. With my martial arts style, I'm most effective when barefoot so it's an easy and quick transition. Further, I've incorporated the use of my flip flops into a Krav Mag style I developed. If I'm in a fight, the first thing I do is kick out and shoot one of my flip flops into the opponents face. If it puts them to the ground, then I kick off the other show and pounce. If it misses, I quickly kick the other flip flop high into the air. While they are looking up at it, I do a flying dragon kick to their groin and knee. It's ing indefensible.
