they shouldn't call him up. why would they need to? isn't he a 3rd baseman? he's too young. he'll get his turn.

Expanded rosters in September and we're in the doghouse. Not a bad time to see what he has at the MLB level

He's only 20, and seems to still have a few holes in his swing. This year he has 113 strikeouts in 362 PAs (split between A+ and AA), but that is down 172 strikeouts in 467 PAs last year at the Rookie and A levels. His walks are also up this year - 65 this year compared to only 50 last year...

Figured it was Holland's idea, but apparently it was all Mark Lowe. It is kind of weird, come to think of it, that the bullpen is separated from the rest of the team isolated, with little to no interaction.

Banister has spent the last 29 years in the Pirates organization with the last 5 years as a bench coach.
As bad as the Pirates have been , he is with a organization that long and never rose thru the Pirates
system to be the Pirates manager? He has a 299-330 record as a minor league manger with the Pirates.
He is Jon Daniels choice so we will see how it works out for him.......
