I haven't met a lot of Latino/Latina so I don't know..

But the only Minorities that are somewhat Ok with their own skin from my personal observation are Arabs..They usually just want to white women cause they know they can't get with their own women.

Well it will only increase as the number of Whites in North America continues to decrease. I wish I had realized the advantage (in social setting) of having light features growing up in a multicultural place like San Diego. But it didn't hit me til I was in my early 20's. Unfortunately as an adolescent I was too busy trying to make friends as an Immigrate to take advantage. The obsession you describe in something I will miss when I move back to Europe because my light features are prevalent there.
