Stern ain't here anymore. Not happening.
I wish the Lakers had just been allowed to get CP3 and Dwight. They wouldn't have won jack. Now we have to listen to them whine all the time over what could have been. It's pathetic.

NBA doesn't want to refund the Wiggins jerseys
The only reason why I'd care is if Love had a chance to sign with the Spurs next off-season. If he goes somewhere else, it may as well be Cleveland.
I don't think he has ever mentioned the Spurs as even a remote possibility.
So we are in agreement, as long as he goes east.
“If there’s a way I can jump on that Spurs roster then I can get on that road to the NBA championship. Hopefully it becomes soon, I’m 25 now, maybe when I’m 26.”

He said it playfully, and right after our Spurs won it all. But the words were said. lol However like everyone else here, I'm happy to have him go East.
lol wutAccording to reports, Cleveland is sending center Anthony Bennett, guard/forward Andrew Wiggins and a future first-round draft pick to Minnesota for Love.
Well he is taller than Blair![]()
Carlos Boozer Mark II would be epical.
This guy really loves the Spurs if this happens. Not only did Silver told the refs to give the advantage to SA against any team not named the Thunder, now he doesn't want another team having a chance at beating them.
I think we all know if this trade takes place there is a nod nod wink wink agreement between Love and the Cavs about an extension being signed. Can the NBA prove it though? Easier said then done.
Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports reports Kevin Love has assured the Cavs he will become a free agent in 2015 and then accept a five-year, max contract that could pay him an estimated $106 million.
Thought it was common knowledge already.
Yep. This is why the league my block it. It's so obvious.
No chance without physical proof like his signature on a contract.
Would be so awkward for Wiggins if he stays in Cleveland tbh...
They don't need proof to block a trade, only to punish them. They can block if they feel Love signing after opting out is a condition for the Cavs making the trade. That's why the Celtics weren't allowed to trade KG to the Clippers last year.
Wanna bet? They need proof.
Did the league have proof with the KG trade?
Yes, but for Love to become a FA and go there and they keep Wiggins as well that would not be good for the league. I hope they just do the trade.
Once again,,,,wanna bet
Nope. That was because you can't trade a coach and player(s) to the same team. Boston had already received compensation from the LAC for Doc. Neither KG or Pierce could have been traded to the LAC at that point.
No. That's childish stuff.
You can't trade a coach, period. You can only compensate a team for letting a coach out of his contract. You may think that's the same thing, but it's not. The league would not allow the Celtics to trade KG to the Clippers, both because they had agreed to let Rivers out of his contract and because there was talk that they were going to buy out Pierce so he could sign with LA. Both of those things were conditions, not trades. The NBA rules say trades can have no extra conditions attached to them.
Then the Wolves would be ed....
