I would venture to say no one gives a about your vote on anything tbh.
NBA,,,,Season,,,,Lock,,,,Rockets don't win .

Better with Yao and McGrady who could never stay on the court, McGrady who was a 40% chucker( though he showed up in the playoffs) and Yao who when he got fronted by Okur and Boozer he was shut down. Takes like this are why the forum is these days.
basically anything that ever criticizes the rox is a bad take according to you
Harden and Dwight are talented. I just dont buy either as a "pillar" of a franchise. Worthy, Pippen, dumars and McHale were all HOF'ers. Manu, Tony and Pau will be someday but they could not win without TRUE pillars like Magic, Kareem, Bird, Isiah Jordan and Duncan to shoulder the heavy load. I would not just trade away or give up on either player .. who would you replace them with? And though I dont see them being a pillar but a Dumars/Mchale type career could still be possible ... even if doubtful.
I just think some Rox fans and Morey are mistaken in believeing they only need a #3 like Bosh. Yes, Bosh would have been a great fit ... but he is no #1 true franchise pillae either. Getting Durant when/if he leaves OKC would be a boss move by Morey ... even though rox fans trying to act like he is a "beta" because he allows Wesbrook too much freedom. Did anyyone say that about Shaq when he let a young Kobe take most of the clutch shots and take over in the 4th? Is duncan a beta for letting Tony run teh team since 2007? Durant is one of the true franchise players we have in this league and only Lebron is definitely ahead of him as I type this, among the 30 and under crowd.
I guess to summarize: I am not as down on the Rox as the Spur fans piling on here lately, because I never saw either guy as a true pillar (and I freely admit my standards are high) of a franchise. They did not under-achieve in the playoffs (well maybe Harden) they just are who I thought they were a non- kle contender.
Cheer up Rox fans, remember David Robinson was once criticized for not showing up in the playoffs ... (Dirk too) so there is hope for Harden. Plus, Dwight did actually show up in the playoffs, but like Shaq his deciation off the court to his in court success is rightfully questioned. He also liek Shaq is building up quite a stable of babay mamas myabe they are hoping to catch Shawn Kemp? You know what changed for Shaq? (though I do give some credit for getting tired of losing) ... we got a real coach. PJ got the best out of Shaq mentally and physically. Get a real coach and maybe you get something similar from Dwight.

Their only downfall was that they were both injury-prone.
Setting that aside, they were much better basketball players. Give me a 7-6 center with touch and skill over a 6-10 got like Howard all day every day. I'll admit that I'm a Howard hater. He's just such a piece of . He embodies everything I hate about modern basketball.
I don't hate Harden, but McGrady was better. Peak McGrady was a top-5 player of the decade. (This list is organized by position, not rank)
Kobe
T-Mac
Garnett
Duncan
Shaq
Those were the West All-star starters for several years. It was one of the best lineups in history. Sure, T-Mac was the weakest of the five - but remember, he was Kobe's strongest individual rival in the early-mid 2000s. I would argue that if you play a fantasy pickup game with those 5 guys versus any other five players in history, the above lineup would always win.

Pretty much
Don't argue with him tho, he will "obliterate" you with his indisputable takes![]()
Truthbombs.... pretty sad how djohn has fallen from slapping Lakerfan with his MJ troll last offseason to his labia quivering 24/7 about the Rockets this offseason![]()
Rockets have a chance to be the new middle 2000's Suns
the MJ troll was one of the most powerful figures on ST... lakerfans were mad as. legend has it that to this day Thebesteva still thinks its harlem
Are we friends now or enemies? I forget. You sensitive you
That was not their only downfall. McGrady played his ass off that series where they both played against the Jazz in 06 or 07. Game 7 at home, need one stop to win and Yao couldn't box out Boozer. When anyone fronted Yao for most of his career, you could pretty much forget about him scoring. He also brought the ball down too much when all he had to do was keep it at his chest and dunk on s. Loved Yao, but that combination didn't work due to Yao being soft in the playoffs, at least for his first couple years. (Game 7 40 point blowout at Dallas) as an example.
No, it's making an assertion without being informed of facts and stats.
Pretty sad how you went to slobbing Sterling's knob for acquiring Doc to begging for him to be kicked out in less than a year. Posting 24/7 about Lakerfan got old and boring. If you have the time for that which you probably do then feel free.
