    Best Plays of the Playoffs:

    1) Kawhi Strip
    2) Timmy late game fade away hook in the same game
    3) Manu dunk vs. Miami
    4) Boris shot vs. Dallas

HM: Belenelli shot against the Heat in game 3 (i think)

Most satisfying series win in a long long time. I was physically exhausted after that game.

The revenge against Miami was somewhat weakened by the fact that it was such a blowout series. In hindsight, Miami winning game two in SA was the best thing that happened because had the Spurs swept, it wouldve all been lumped into the AC failing and Miami never being able to recover. Them winning the second game really allowed the Spurs ass kicking them to be rightfully respected.

    Best Plays of the Playoffs:

    1) Kawhi Strip +Timmy make (happened on the same sequence)
    2) Manu drains 3 to give us a 100-99 vs OKC
    3) Green 4th quarter explosion in game 1 vs. Miami

    4) Boris shot vs. Dallas

HM: Belenelli shot against the Heat in game 3 (i think)

Game 2 is still my favorite, seeing Westbrook call Durant out in that timeout, and then dropping those gots by 35.

The Finals this year is by far my favorite playoff series in franchise history. It was the best basketball the Spurs have ever played, they broke up one of the greatest teams in league history by destroying them with the worst point differential in Finals history, they shot the highest percentage in Finals history, they got revenge on a team they owed big time, and won a le in dominating fashion without an all-star level player against a team stacked with stars. No other series comes close to me.

I don't think peeps really realize what an historic beatdown that was. I mean, if we don't miss like 4 free throws in a row in Game 2, it's a sweep of a back to back champ in the Finals.

Yup...I remember that one...that play was pure sex. The Thunder didn't know what hit 'em.
That play really stood out to me. It was one of those "beautiful" plays, and that's when it clicked for me...this is what the Spurs need to do to beat the Thunder and Heat.

    takeaways from this game:

    - Manu redeemed himself in a huge way with that bailout 3
    - Duncan with ridiculous patience and control in crunch time
    - Westbrook with so many awful decisions down the stretch
    - Kawhi with one of the best steals in franchise history
I was just thinking of starting the following Alternate Timeline threads:

    - Alternate Timeline: Manu misses the 3 pointer to put us up one.
    - Alternate Timeline: Tim misses the turnaround jumper in OT to seal the game.
    - Alternate Timeline: Kawhi can't get the steal on Westbrook after Manu was blocked.
    - Alternate Timeline: Tony isn't injured in the 2nd half.

I see lots of potential trolling/meltdowns in at least a couple of those

completely forgot to put manus shot there, definitely top 3 with the strip and Tim's bucket. Gotta say that manus dunk rates higher than greens shooting for me tho just because manus dunk was when I, and I think anyone else watching the game, knew the series was over. It was a huge play symbolically and was an awesome vintage dunk by the most passionate spur.

That's when I knew for sure they were winning the whole thing. Those are the kind of clutch road games I remember from championship seasons. The NBA probably did a disservice to the Heat because they didn't face any real compe ion till they got to the Finals.

The two signature plays of the playoffs come from this game - Kawhi's steal on Westbrook and the three pass setup for Diaw's three, which should be THE signature for this team, i.e. The one in clip reels for years to come. That sequence was nuts. I've never seen anything like it.

oh , i'd forgotten that tony didn't play and that ing ridiculous goaltending non-call. that win was sooo sweet.

Keeping his composure when Westbrook was flying around him... I remember that play specifically stressing me the out.
Wasn't it written that Duncan actually had no idea Westbrook was in the area until after he got the shot off?

Yeah, I heard that too. I remember screaming at my TV and panicking because I thought he was gonna steal it
