Blair plays for the wizards now. Good try though.
This can become the best rivalry in the NBA. What would have made it better Blair having to c us get our rings. The NBA better not screw it up n change it to SPURS at cavs. Now for Christmas we should get to host the lakers but I doubt we do but I wouldn't mind the game in LA cause I live here n that would the perfect Christmas gift watching the SPURS kick the lakers ass.

you shouldnt read so fast....
"What would have made it better Blair having to c us get our rings"...meaning he knows he is not with the mavs anymore
Good try though.

Were getting the thunder on christmas
Well, at least RJ can see the ring ceremony.![]()
It's typical that we would be playing the Mavs instead of an interesting team like the Cavs.
Like, I get it. The Mavs renewed their roster with Tyson Chandler, Parsons, Felton, etc. But nobody outside of Spurs and Mavs fans will give a about this game. The Cavs would have been SO much more entertaining to play in game 1.
I would have rather opened in Cleveland than play the boring ing Mavs.
I say no to the CAVs
Too much of the off season and even the close of the finals has been about LBJ and where he is going. And now with Stan Love's off spring...
This night should be about the Spurs- if they played the CAVs all the media attention would be about you know who went home....
Maybe the spurs would like this...
I am of the opinion Ring Night should be against a scrub team where all the inevitable distractions won't cost you a game. It's like the homecoming football game. You want a weakling you can blow out so everyone leaves happy.
I think it was Miami that got blown out on their ring night by 42 in 2007. Talk about a buzz kill. http://espn.go.com/nba/recap?gameId=261031014
Usually I'm all for playing the best compe ion, so this is me being a wimp I know, but on ring night give me Utah or the Bucks or the Washington Generals, etc.

Hey, we are the champs and everyone will be taking their best shot at us. The Mavs were damn good last year and will be even better this year. I think we should welcome the challenge and kick their asses to start off the new season.
the Heat on Thanksgiving please
