The guy playing was getting blown out by the Heat without Lebron. Doesn't surprise me tbh. 2K has always hated the Spurs, underrating the players, while overrating teams like the Knicks and Clippers...

It's likely the league needs to pre-approve court design changes, much like they pre-approve jersey number changes. Being that 2K is an official licensee, I suspect it's very likely that's indeed the new league-approved court design.
As far as the ratings, we'll see.. I actually expect 2K to overrate some Spurs players this season, to account for the great team chemistry and team play...

i am sorry but this looks pretty bad. The players are moving like they are on ice skates... Stupid 2K, rather go work on gameplay and not just ing graphics.
I remember playing NBA live in the 90's and Brian Shaw was unstoppable. When my opponent picked Jordan I countered with Shaw who was just as dominant for some reason, it used to piss people off.

guys get mad about video game ratings? last time i legitimately upset over that was NBA Live 2004 when the Spurs were rated lower than the Nets just after beating them

That isn't the point. It's the fact that they have been given mediocre stats in the first place, not to mention you cannot use edited stats players when you play online. You only get default stats.
