did you watch the preseason game?
not. paying. attention.
Another clueless soul. I saw Manziel run the read option less than 10 times in his entire college career.

You obviously don't know his game much like most the media. Cleveland fans will soon know and the NFL will soon know.

Uhh yeah? What about it? I saw them call one read option for him and it didn't work. He's doesn't need the read option, he never has.
Also saw him go 7/11 from inside the pocket in his first game as a Pro and his first time in live action in over 8 months. I would say that's pretty good all things considered. Especially for a guy who "can't throw" .
They ran it, but it's not like they depended on it like djohn stated.
replay of football's debut on nfl network right now for those that had the misfortune of missing it tbh
This doesn't make sense if you want to name a starter by preseason week 3. Why not give both guys a shot to start in a game and decide from there? Players and media have been saying the compe ion has been 50/50.
I wonder how long the first team is going to play. The whole first half?
late for team meeting, fined... probably hung over
They handled it "internally," yet Manziel's the only guy who is named as being y when there were a couple of others.

It sells I guess. People that want to see him fail so badly will click on that link even if they'll be disappointed with the content.
The Browns themselves are being idiots though.
It's the Browns tbh. You knew what you signed up for when you started following them.
Pretty much. Here's what Wilbon had to say on PTI a couple of days ago:
Wait, people still think Manziel is going to start over Hoyer?
Ok then.![]()
yes and those people are morons. Kid's Tim Tebow but it's ok cause he doesn't have Jesus
Wait people actually think Hoyer is more than a career back-up?
Ok then.![]()
Remember that "first-in, last-out mentality" Inbred supposedly had?
Already late for meetings
Can't even get the "first-in" part right
hoyer is rehabbing from a torn acl, just sayin
Jay gruden said our starters are playing the first quarter.if this defense gets torched by the same offense it's faced in practice the last few years
Prior to Monday night’s preseason game, Brian Hoyer was the favorite to win his compe ion with Johnny Manziel to open the season as the Browns’ starting quarterback. After the game, coach Mike Pettine’s comments suggested that Hoyer is still the favorite.
Pettine insisted that all options are on the table, but the combination of Pettine’s anger at Manziel for flipping the bird on the field and Pettine’s insistence that the Week One starter will be the quarterback who gives the Browns the best chance to win in Week One seem to point to Hoyer.

everything was set up for a fake job compe ion with a ton of hype afterwards (even though he was battling a journeyman coming from a torn acl in a lame scheme), but then he ing sucked both on and off the court as per par.
Only thing the dip proved is that opposing teams can easily get into his head. Weak minded stick![]()
