He got more votes cuz all you idiot third worlders and democrats are using shades to vote twice.

    And who won finals MVP?

Who blocked Westbrick in OT to save the season?

Kawhi just got that much better. He was the second best player in the finals last year too.
He just knew he had to get way better to carry a bunch of geriatrics.
get the off these forums dude.

Seriously? The big 3 is the only reason we have been relevant for over 10 years. Do you see how KG and Pierce play now? They are ing horrible. TP, TD, and Manu are the reason this team went far. Kawhi is not there yet. He is our only athletic player. He has a great upside, you are just an idiot.

"Geriatrics" - lol that alone deserves a pinking.

who hit the clutch 3 for it to even go into OT?

This is who had a better PLAYOFFS, not FINALS, and that's even still debatable. Manu took over games 1, 2 and 5. If Manu wanted to be aggressive and win it, he could have, but he's not that kind of player.

How can there even be a term for "Manu " when we have idiots thinking Kawhi could carry a team into the playoffs and go all the way at this point in his career?

    "The system limits Kawhi"

Indeed. Leonard may have shifted his mentality after taking over the Finals. If he keeps rolling he will be a beast.

I am laughing at the idea Manu is better. Guy can barely dunk and when he does he breaks his leg.

Everytime Manu tries to be aggressive he breaks his ankle or leg.

Leonard is the reason we have made three WCFs and two finals in the last three years, not Manu.

Strange, because in 2012 I distinctly remember Kawhi having to be benched against OKC and Manu getting ZERO help to get past them.

In 2013, I give you that, although we would have been down 2-0 against GS if he didn't hit that 3 as time expired, and we would have probably been down 3-2 going to Miami if he didn't have that game 5. Not to mention in game 7 where he had 18 points and 5 assists, him and Kawhi were the only two to show up (besides Tim of course)

In 2014, it's not even debatable. He was our best player throughout the playoffs.

Exactly. And Manu totters around like an old man while Leonard sprints like a cheetah or a gazelle. Not even close at this point. Manu can do so so playing against scrubs and he can put in a short burst now and then. But Leonard is light years better physically and can do things Manu cannot....and sustain the effort for far longer.

Those are literally the only three games he's excelled in. He was having a tough playoffs. Don't let three games impair your judgement.
Manu is still a better player than Kawhi at age 36... Kawhi has a great upside.. but he's not there yet. He's our fourth option.
LMAO..."Manu is still a better player than Kawhi at age 36."<--- That is the most ridiculous statement on this thread.
okay? Should I pull up the game thread where you finally had to shut up and praise him?
dabom, if you actually posted before last week, you would realize how stupid you look agreeing with these guys. They are pretty much the laughing stock of the forums.
    Kawhi homers are the worst.
And you are the laughing stock of all the Manu s in these forums. The poll results on these forums are meaningless. There is a large Hispanic community in SA and Manu is Hispanic therefore Manu will get more votes.

As for everyone else, just be happy the Spurs won the championship. I'm glad Manu had a good year. I got goose bumps when he got that dunk in the NBA finals. Manu is forgiven on my books and he redeemed himself. Both Kawhi and Manu did their part in the NBA Finals and without either of them the Spurs would not win #5.

I can care less who got the NBA Finals MVP trophy because Tim or Manu could have easily gotten it as well. But I can understand the Manu s being upset that out of the Big 3, their hero is the only one that has not won an NBA Finals MVP. Let's just hope Manu has another good year in him especially that he' going to rest.

I got them, too, but I was sure he would wind up hurt. Meanwhile, Leonard had the most impressive dunk of the season with that free throw line put back slam. Nevermind the alleyoop or the miss over Birdman.

Leonard is a dunk machine. A one man fastbreak. He does it all the time! Manu gets ONE and everyone faints. That tells you all you need to know about who is better....

This poll should read: Who was the better player in the Finals between Manu and Kawhi?

Because Manu was CLEARLY the better player in the playoffs. I don't think that's even disputable. But in the Finals? That's actually debatable, although Manu led the Spurs in PER in the Finals and his impact in the 3rd quarter of game 5 was what ultimately carried us over the hump.
