israel was founded by zionists who pressured the british to give them a slice of the empire. must be nice to get a free birthright trip.
i don't really care for israel existing or not, but the arab israeli wars should have decided this a long time ago. the UN (as usual) did a terrible job pressuring the creation of an arab state in the middle of israel. the jews should have just kept on the offense and pushed all of the arabs out. it sounds terrible but that would have saved half a century of conflict.

It doesn't matter if Jews were given a state in Africa, Europe or USA. They would be fighting with the locals. That's what Jews do.
What they seem to do is integrate very well into many societies.
But without sacrificing their cultural practices.

Agreed... But you seem to ignore that unlike USA with Christianity, Israel is the only jew state in the world and has very specific attributes (any jew in the world can ask for Israeli citizenship, every law voted by the Kensset has to be "compatible" with judaism).

You should ask yourself a very simple question: why do most people in the West Bank voted and support Hammas? What kind of peace Israel is expecting with these deadly bombing?
