It's amusing to watch the criminal defenders change their argument in this thread. Now that they've admitted he's committed a criminal act minutes before they're going with he shouldn't have been shot more because he was wounded. How do you know he was the only guy that truly saw it? And there are videos of people who all have the same story uploaded to Facebook a couple of hours after the shooting, your telling me they all got together to make sure their stories matched?
The dead guy committed a crime, stealing is never okay. However, a cop shooting him multiple times while unarmed is also not okay.

As I said, he should of gotten back into his patrol car or used a different method of self defense. The young man posed no immediate threat to anyone so him using lethal force was not justified.
