    "Evolution"

they say we all came from the sea
    we then evolved
    into a rhino
    and a flea

    some would grow wings
    others a snout
    while some made webs
    and others hopped about

    yep, it's evolution
    without a doubt
    obviously a gorilla
    had the same ancestors
    as a trout

    but why was a camel
    a camel 2000 years ago
    shouldn't they have another hump
    or some other change
    what happened to evolution
when a camel still looks the same

    So tell me Avante...

how does a worm evolve into an animal that has to create chips that taste like ginger/wasabi? and what's the logic behind evolving into an animal that includes some freaks that become sexually aroused by dressing like animals?
    where does that come from?

    I'll work on that.

What I want to know is what did the sea creatures that gave us birds, elephants, spiders, humans evolve from? And, what was the motivating factor to leave the sea?

I don't know. But we were shrimp and now...I have a device in my pocket that can communicate by invisible waves to the moon. Yeah...sounds plausible.

My question is: What is the motivation behind asking questions about evolution on a basketball message board?

You mean that same board that talks about...

    movies
    music
    sex
    books
    sex
    the worldly news
    sex
    tv shows
    sex
    is there a God

    ...that one?

Avante seems to think that for evolution to be plausible that one fish must have given birth to both a camel and a flea

    A) off topic
    b) I didn't say they don't matter at all. I just said production doesn't necessarily translate

In a forum with topics like the ones you mentioned there is not going to be any productive discussions on a topic as complicated as the theory of evolution. Even if the people trying to provide the answers were actually well-informed enough to explain evolution in a manner that can be understood or that actually had the patience to do so, the people who are asking the questions either do not have the mental capacity to understand or are so strapped to their beliefs that an intelligent, respectful discourse will never occur. You know this. That is why you are starting these threads.

Dude, just stop it...ok? It's not working, alright? Stop acting as if there is anything out there just too damn complex for anyone here to figure it, it isn't..ok? If you think it is then you're the dumb ass.

There isn't one thing about evolution complex, it's actually very simple. You actually think it isn't....hahahaha!!!!!!!

What is it little man is that for everyone who believes in evolution there is someone else who doesn't, that's why I make those threads, the back and forth..........entertaining.

It's all about the joust, the debate, the entertainment ya little , can't believe you haven't figured that out.......no I'm not.

That's what I just said. I'm not the one struggling to understand the basic concepts of evolution, btw.

That's the problem with most people who believe in evolution. They believe they are above someone who believes In God. They think believing in evolution somehow makes them enlightened. Learning about evolution is not that difficult. Wow, you can read and have an extensive vocabulary, I guess that somehow makes you more intelligent. Not impressed. Education does not = intelligence. No one here is a scientist. What they know comes from a book. Maybe a few have done a little lab work but nothing that somehow makes them better or more qualified to speak on evolution than any other person on here.

Why am I not surprised? So tell me little fella what's complex about it?

    One read...

    Darwin's theory of evolution

    ...and you got it, wow...complex!

There are a lot of things I value over education. That being said, I believe someone who has studied science and specifically the theory of evolution is more qualified to speak on the subject than someone who is not educated on the subject, refuses to read anything on the subject. I know that might sound weird, but that's how I feel.

I'm going to go slow amigo, do your best, ok?

I've read books on the theory of evolution......I DON'T BUY IT....ok? That's why I'm talking rats, worms.

There is nothing even close to being complex about the theory, I just don't believe it. Ok little man?

So, a magic sky god who frowns on you for touching your penis and will eventually kill us all unless we follow his rules is more plausible to you than life on this planet mutating and changing over billions of years?
