I just had a guy not 4 weeks ago approach me and some business associates and say watch this. He took a donut and started crumbling it and throwing it up to seagulls probably from nearby Yellowstone. We sensed something strange and said we had to go. He walked to his tuck and pulled out a shot gun and fired at the gulls. He Fkn fired a shotgun and was killing gulls. We got out of there and called 911. It had already been called in.

Next we we saw the police talking to him. We drove around the side of the store. The guy was nuts. They drove away with him. I doubt he pulled a gun on them but Jesus...

You can't just shoot nuts. Would you have driven up that close to an armed bum that was agitated?
Change procedures.

That he might try and run off and knife someone after displaying his stolen drinks and daring people to take them.
The white truck that drove up before the cops, they were in a bad spot.

You are worried about what I label him as after that? He's living with his grandma and just stole two sodas daring people people to take them in the middle of the day... He was obviously a nut. Drugged out, drunk, I don't know what. Many bums are exactly this. Mentally ill alcoholics or drug users. And you are worried about how he is labeled.

They probably got a call that there was a man with a knife. They don't have the benefit of knowing the guys mental state and what he's going to do next. They rightfully drew their guns. For all they know, he's going to attack them or someone else. And he started to.
