I think its kd
I have always loved NBA Live more than NBA 2k so I'm really hoping that Kawhi Leonard is on the cover I have only 2 copies n that's the 2000 version with Duncan n the 09 with Parker on the cover so y not put our third finals MVP on the cover of the 15 version.
NBA Live has gone way downhill since 2006. Live 2000 and Live 2003 were incredible, and 2006 was probably the last good one. CROFL their previous version, which was so bad they cancelled the release about a week before it was supposed to hit store shelves.
lol who still plays live? Their recent relaunch was god awful, I meant it was TERRIBLE. Anything besides 2k is inferior.
Isn't Lillard on the cover for live?
and yea Live is pathetic, but 2K is also not getting better... Idiots only think about their stupid graphics.
I bought David Robinson's Supreme Court for Sega Genesis the day it came out. Sort of turned me off basketball video games.![]()
LMFAO @ NBA Live, what the is the matter with you?!?!
Supreme Court and California Games were my tbh
Honestly, when a game reaches a certain point of refinement, how much better can the game get? Only real issue with the 2K series is the "suck you in" animations, but they're honestly not game breaking, nor common enough to say the game sucks. You learn to adapt to the little bull nuances on that game IMO.
Half pipe in California games was total greatness.![]()
NBA Courtside 2002
had MJ in it
I have NBA Shootout 97 for the PSX. Year before Tim. Also have NBA Live 98. Thank goodness for that.
The truth
So did Tecmo NBA Basketball for the NES. He wasn't in very many other games though.
Jordan vs. Bird was the first great basketball video game. He was also in NBA Jam, maybe the last great basketball video game.![]()
Yessir. The surfing was the too even though I couldn't get the hang of it.
You remember when NBA Showdown came out from EA Sports, and they started to introduce the 'Signature Moves'? Robinson had his signature two hand power dunk, Barkley had the "Gorilla Slam", Jordan had his famous circus layup below..
Yeah, MJ, Barkley, and Shaq all had exclusive deals with companies to use their likeness. I hated using "Player #99" for the Bulls, Magic, and Suns tbh.
NBA live 2004 and nba street vol2 will always be my favorites. IMO basketball games have been terrible since the ps3 and 360 gen. Jordan was in live 04
Live 2006 wae when they put in superstar special moves, which was basically a euphemism for "shots that cant be guarded." They turned an already arcade oriented game into a straight up arcade game. I wont touch another ea sports game after it.
Anyone that bashes 2k, makes me wonder if they've ever even played the game. Is it perfect? Of course not....but it's a blast to play. I have put together my own all time spurs team. Tp, manu, kawhi, rodman, gervin, mings, drob, td, etc. ...you guys r missing out.
I think I might have not-nice things to say about someone that put Rodman on an all-time Spurs team, but to each his own.![]()
Was it a 12 man all-time team? I'd think Rodman would be considered judging my the numbers and victories of '94 and '95.
Trust me, I agree!! However, the league I play in is stacked, and I desperately need his defense and rebounding. So basically, I said F it.
Roster:
Tp/ manu
Gervin/ green (high 3 rating)
Kawhi/ jackson/ elliott
Td/rodman/ mings
Drob/malone
I'll always be a NBA live guy, as my last basketball game I bought was NBA Live 10. I refuse to buy 2K, even if occasionally I play it with my buddies and still tear it up. I understand the Live does suck balls, but the graphics look amazing though in this coming up years game, and hopefully the gameplay will be night and day. I will buy it if IGN rating are good to amazing, and possibly rent from Red box if it's average. Going back to the question it would be badass trend if EA did give the previous year finals MVP the unanimous right to be on the cover if they hadn't been on it already, but I've heard rumblings that it will be Damian Lillard.
