I was watching Jets preseason videos, and holy Michael Vick is fast as . He outran their kick returner in a foot race. It's a shame he's so mediocre and injury-proned now.
Do you think he's still the fastest QB? Only QB's I think that can give him a run for his money are RGIII and maybe Cam. I still think Vick takes it. Crazy athletic.

I think Kaep is faster. I think Wilson is quicker, but not faster.

The fastest player ever to line up behind center in any football game at any level was Bears wide receiver Curtis Conway (USC) who was a high school QB and a legit 10.26 sprinter. There is no QB he wouldn't beat at the 100m distance. Yes even Dennard Robinson (Mich).
Now Michael Vick.
Vick is the fastest QB to ever play pro football. His 4.25 to 4.33 stuff is wide receiver speed, which he has. Other than Olympic sprinter Frank Budd (Villanova), Vick was the fastest Eagle of all time. And other than Olympic sprinter Johnny Jones (Texas) he is the fastest Jet. And....other than Olympic sprinter Gerald Tinker (Kent State) and Deion Sanders (FSU) he was the fastest Falcon.

RGIII...4.41 Here we have a guy who gets props he simply hasn't warranted. He was never a "world class" anything. He couldn't even make the finals of the NCAA. He isn't nearly (a 4.41 proves this) as fast as he is made out to be. Sure, sure, he is fast for a QB.

*** I'm sure some of you have noticed the similarities between Kap and Oregons Marcus Mariotta. It's real easy to see that the 40 isn't really the best distance to gage their jets, these are long strider types. I do see their 40's being a bit misleading.

Being this is football, the fact somebody has 100m speed means little. I just talk about it to show off. It really is all about the 40 on a football field.
