Isn't he like 40?

The former Syracuse University star confirmed Friday that he had been invited to a workout with the reigning NBA champions. Warrick will have his workout with the Spurs on Sept. 1.
Warrick, who played at Syracuse from 2001 to 2005, spent eight years in the NBA. The Memphis Grizzlies took him with the 19th pick in the 2005 NBA draft. In addition to the Grizzlies, the 6-foot-9 forward has played for the Milwaukee Bucks, the Chicago Bulls, the Phoenix Suns, the New Orleans Hornets and the Charlotte Bobcats. However, he last played in the NBA during the 2012-13 season with the Bobcats.
I actually like Warrick a lot. I hope he still has something left, because he can be a legit power-forward, which is something only Diaw can say right now.
Just turned 32 last month.
I'd rather take a 3rd shot at Mal Thomas. He's on a non-guaranteed contract with Cleveland, and may be thrown into the big trade, and later cut.
Cleveland can't package him in this upcoming trade. I agree that I would like to see Thomas back in Silver and Black over a retread. It was a mistake to not just like Malcolm try playing the three before cutting him for Jeffers.
ive always liked him, he probably wont make the team though. better than ayres
he's not to bad tbh, he rather strong for his size and can penetrate to the rim great for a big man.
good compe ion between him and bynes
How about we dump that bum Ayres off the team and keep both of them? I would not mind. If he is not bad then he is light years ahead of Ayres.
He challenges every shot at the rim. Already an upgrade from Ayres.
By the way, there's been a lot of talk about the Spurs potentially adding another big recently. I wonder if that means there's a possible trade coming up. Maybe there's a two-for-one or even three-for-one deal being discussed that would send out Ayres, Daye and even Beli for an impact player. Then, the Spurs would have room to bring Baynes back and/or add a PF.
Signing Warrick might be it.
More likely cause Baynes is going back to Europe.
Warrick, Green, Capela, even rumors about Milicic. The point to me is that the team is pursuing players at their deepest position for some reason.
Part of the reason, for sure. But with the team needing PG depth and having six bigs on the roster not counting Baynes, I'm skeptical.
Capela? Is Houston shopping him?
Warrick is still in the league?
If the guy wouldn't play except for garbage time, I'd rather see a youngster like Green get a shot. I'm not against vets per se since I always thought Kevin Willis didn't get enough playing time--and he went on to play another couple of years after he left the Spurs--but we've kinda gotten away from the old vet syndrome and been pretty successful.
What else can he do except dunk?
Not necessarily. The Spurs can make room pretty easily. It's not like Daye/Errors contracts are hard to move if they would rather keep Warrick and Baynes. Furthermore, Baynes and Warrick play different positions. Daye would most likely be the one to go if they decided to keep Warrick.
me likey!
He wasn't last year. He last played in the NBA during 2012-2013.
Probably. But I meant that they gave him a promise even though he was expecting to come over this season.
