Avante is here just to get a rise out of posters tbh.

and yes, I agree with you. There are many more differences. I'm more of a thermodynamics guy tho so you can imagine what aspects I look into more. Thermodynamics is lyfe.
Sup with dat 2nd law of thermodynamics? tbh

Not sking about..."most likely"....genius. I;m asking you if you think something as complex as DNA could just happen by chance? Are you capable of....yes or no?
Yes we think the DNA system arose from a simpler RNA system. The evidence is compelling but in science, we are open to new evidence that involves science.

The fact you keep asking the same question over and over again and I keep answering again proves...

    yes I do...

And I can point at all the flaws in what you posted above but you would not understand the explanations for one basic reason, you don't have a clue as to what you have posted.

Does your master designer make mistakes? If so, possibly, but there are better explanations using science. YOUR MASTER DESIGNER. Like I'm supposed to know what that means.

What at attributes does your master designer have, perfection, goal oriented end product, what?

    YOUR master designer...

thermodynamics is tough tbh... it was one of the most interesting and most challenging subjects i've encountered. ugh

Notice how nobody here can answer this simple question....

Do you think the complexities of DNA just came about by chance?

    Amazing.

if the master designer was such a master why would he need to make DNA polymerase to "proofread" errors instead of just creating an error free system? seems like a waste of time. same with mistakes made in mRNA translation.

why would the master designer create viruses? just to with us?

And btw, the system is flawed and far from perfect even though it is complex. A computer programmer would never invent a system so easily flawed and containing mistakes.
Are you sure about that? Industry averages are between 10 -50 errors per 1000 lines of code.

while "chance" isn't the best word to describe it, i would say yes, long story short. although you have to realize that nobody is claiming that one day things magically happened and BAM we had DNA from nowhere. as pgardn has said, DNA is most likely derived from RNA, a much simpler form of genetic material

You have no idea what that question actually entails, you have already proven that.

And why do you ask this just about DNA? Ask it about a human brain, something much more complex and also imperfect.
You are just chasing your tail.

DNA is also much more stable than RNA. there was probably some developmental mechanism that favored DNA over RNA for this fact.

It is, but RNA has the capability of playing the duel role of information and enzyme.
It can easily make more of itself in vitro which is absolutely cool.

See there is such good stuff along these lines. The imbedded viral sequences, the psuedogenes... On and on.
I can appreciate music AND the fascination of science. I sincerely wish others could as well.

This is known. I'm speaking more in terms of stability. There are thousands of reactions that can occur with a basic hydroxyl group. I hate speaking teleologically but it's clear more complex biological systems preferred using DNA over RNA for this fact. , even tho DNA exists to be the more stable between the two it still encounters reactions that can be bad for it (leading to mutations of the genome).
