He's kinda reckless on the fastbreak though. I can remember a few times where he picked up offensive fouls driving into the lane instead of passing.
Him being underrated is a product of him being slightly overrated in the defensive end IMO...People say he is product of a system..
- Truth is, only 50% of his points are assisted compared to a guy like Durant whose points is assited 68% of the time. Not saying he is currently better than durant.
- The most efficient Post up player in the league.
- Deadly shooter..Catch and shoot, dribble shoot etc.
- Underrated passer and PnR player.
- Great offensive awareness
- Great cuttter
- A legitimate scrapper.
- Dominant offensive rebounder
Again, His points are a result of individual brilliance.

One of Kawhi's main strenghts is in the transition...
He's one of the most efficient transition scorers in the league.
one thing fore sure his offensive game is not repe ive ...unlike the ballhog on the team
it was in 2013. he'd just find his little corner three and brick it every time.
He is overrated on both offense and defense. Black, american and with braids.. the xenophobic s in ST want to give 'Murica more importance in Spurs than it actually has
if we had Papanikolau or some other mediocre SF who could defend, we still win 5
The entire league is adjusting to the spurs and KL.
Look at Lebron and Carmelo, both losing ton of weight to match up to KL.
then why bring it up
as opposed to an illegitimate scrapper?A legitimate scrapper.
where do you get your transition efficiency stats from?
Leonard averages 13 points per game. I think he's perfectly rated as is.
yeah it ha nothing to do with new testing
You'll be missing Kawhi when Ballmer signs him away![]()
Well, I guess PPG is now a meaningless statistic? Perhaps, you can tell us what we should be looking at then?
You do realize he only played 29 mpg right? He started off the season slow too after sitting out the entire off season this year. 13 PPG, 6 RPG, 2 SPG, while guarding the best player on the opposing team, capable of guarding multiple positions.
It seems you can't answer a simple question.
And the little squirt has one stout back to carry Tim to it.
You make good points which I don't disagree with. All I'm saying is that I don't think he's underrated nor do I think he's overrated. Most people look at him as a great young player on the come up (Which he is), to me that is not being underrated.
How can one start a thread, make an argument and then completely refuse to defend said argument?
Welp he did play basketball in the month that so called superstars in this league don't for two straight years.
What point are you trying to make?
system player... TD is the guy that makes it all work, tbh
