That is how I felt, I was so ing excited we won. My hatred of OKC and the fact that we actually beat them with all the BS ref help and the fact that nobody thought we would win after Ibaka came back made it amazing
I honestly think we won the championship that night.

I think they got it right. The Houston-Portland game was back and forth the whole game. The climatic last minute of game was nail biting and full of drama. Parsons had that rebound reverse layin with .9 secs left to make it seem like the series was now tied at 3-3 and going back to Houston for clincher. The Portland fans went from jubilation to depression in 1 second back to hysteria 9/10 of a second later with that miracle 3 pointer by Lilliard. I was happy Portland won for sure because Houston would have probably taken Spurs on another long tough series battle.
Off the top of my head I can't think of a bigger single shot in Duncan's career than that one over Jackson with Westbrook going for the swipe to put the game and series away in the Western Conference Finals on the road. There are probably others (something in 2005 vs Detroit?) but I'll remember that shot and the way it bounced around the rim before dropping through and out bench exploding FOREVER.
Game 6 2005 against the same(?) franchise.
Duncan hates dem sonics/thunder.![]()
Truer words seldom spoken!![]()
Just watched this game the other night....
Ginobili's dagger three at the end of regulation still gets me hype. As well as Sugar K's block on Westbrook. Two of the best/clutch Spurs plays I've ever seen. What a uva game...
