He's the current Euroleague champion. The guy is super-productive in the low post, very hard to stop on the lane, but you can't play him more than 5 consecutive minutes. He's overweighted as usual, and has bad stamina. This past season he averaged 9.6 points in only 14 minutes per game (he was the top scorer of the compe ion per minute).

In the NBA you can only use him as a scoring spark down low. He's short for a center, not great protecting the rim and a poor rebounder. Very foul prone, since he can only stay on the floor for a few minutes, it doesn't matter that much.

He looked pretty athletic and energetic there. The problem, as I've said, is that he can't provide you that kind of effort for extended periods of time.

Can anyone tell me a bit about these two guys, Roberts in particular. I know Miller had weight issues, so I assume Roberts did too? I thought I read that Roberts was a beast like Shaq in his very early young days? That he also had a lot of potential, but didn't live up to it when getting to the NBA?

Stanley actually played at LSU with Shaq, and probably had more talent. He just grew up pampered because he could play and never gave a lot of effort. He was the first guy to get banned from the league for drugs, if I remember correctly, but food was his first substance abuse problem. I remember seeing him and John Williams on the Clippers. Both of them had a lot of wasted ability and too much caloric intake. Stanley was really good in short stretches in an era where there were some pretty good bigs.
